The three final candidates in the Apps for America 2 contest?
DataMasher.org is a point-and-click mashup map maker that lets you can plot federal data on a map, for instance high school graduation rates and teen birth rates combined to rank what states are healthiest for teens.
GovPulse.us is a customized smart browser for the Federal Register, the government’s newspaper which citizens never read — in no small part because it lacked any form.
And finally there’s a site called ThisWeKnow.org that shows you what the feds know about your city — from cancer rates to population growth.
