How fitting: Real Steve is due back later this month after a live-saving liver transplant, and Fake Steve breaks a nearly 11-month silence to show signs of his own life.
In the third of a sudden three-day spree of blog updates Fake Steve reveals the source of “his” liver transplant: no other than New York Times technology correspondent David Pogue.
“Namaste, David,” FSJ says. “I owe you one.”
Indeed. Finding a type match is hard enough, but the odds of finding a working journalist that has a working liver is astronomical.
