As quickly (and as inexplicably) as it was blocked, Facebook is back in Iran.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad did not own up to his administration’s blocking of the social network in advance of the June 12 elections, but access was back Monday after being down Saturday. Regime opponents considered it an attempt to thwart one of his opponents, former Prime Minister Mir Hossein Mousavi, who has about 5,000 fans on the service.
